my friend's grandmother gave her a vintage ladies watch b4 she passed - the face says LeCoultre. There is no serial # - the band has "GEMEX" on it and underneath that is "1/2012ktgf". It also has a "Pat.23454".
The tag that is still on it says "LeCoultre maker of ATMOS the perpetual motion clock" -- on the back of the tag it talks about the company "worlds smallest watch, world's most complicated watch, . . . "
Is there any info I can find out about this?

Sorry, I do not know the model name. We'd have to dig it up in old US Market catalogs. This is a US Market piece, probably from the mid 1950s. Should you have the movement serial number I can tell you exactly.

Nettisalm, the model name of your LeCoultre watch is the "Caprice". It originally sold in the early 1950s for $125. Hope this helps.

I just noticed that you didn't mention the composition of the watch case in your original post, so you may not be aware.... the case is solid 14K. Nice watch, but they tend to be underappreciated (as nearly all vintage ladies' watches are) in the market place. I see this model come up on auction all the time and the sales price usually ends in the $150-200 range.
