Zaf -- regarding your JLC piece on sale (description at end): Pre-quartz, regarding matching case and movement numbers, were there any other exceptional instances (aside from old Reversos) where packaged JLC components were stamped with a universal number? On Reversos, only the case parts match. I'm not aware of any other model in which the movement # matches that of the serial #. I'd bet you good money, that the case serial numbers are duplicated somewhere on civilian watches that are not part of this alleged Luftwaffe order! |
