I saw a 1950 Cartier watch with a movement that was definitely a JLC 12 1/2 ligne, but marked Cartier and adjusted 3 positions. There did not appear to be a cal. number where one would expect, but there was a JL mark on the crown. It was signed Cartier on the face, which was very simple with cross hair markings. It seemed unusual to me that there was no indication of JLC source marked anywhere except the crown, but this may have been normal for their agreement. The dealer seems very reputable, and the price was pretty high--18k BTW. I've read about Cartier Memovox here but no watch like this. |

I was mistaken, it is a smaller movement and there is a number under the wheel but I can't read it from a photo. The movement is also marked OYP. |
