The dial looks like a variation of the "Etrier" model which was a driver's style watch with the winding crown at the 6 o'clock position.

I don't see a winding crown in your picture. Is it hidden under the bezel or is this a backwind model?

Yes it has the crown on the back. From what year did they start making "The Etrier"?

The last picture tells a lot more. The watch is a "DuoPlan" model, probably powered by a caliber 409 movement. I would guess 1940s or so, based upon styling.
