Dear Zaf,

in another thread some time ago (vintage E. Gübelin Reverso) was mentioned by you that the "W" is the sign for the case producer "Wenger" and the "S" might be the sign of another case producer.

Yesterday I received a messege from the JLC guys from Switzerland. They told me that the "S" on a vintage Reverso is not the sign for another producer but the sign for Reverso watches being fitted with sapphire glass already (usually refered to as the Model "De Luxe").
Best regards
Thomas
