I've aquired a Memovox, and I'm having a problem getting it appraised...it's in mint condition, and the only markings on the back cover is "10K gold filled" it has no day or date, just the two knobs, one for winding, one for setting the time...anyhelp would be great!!!!
Thanks,
Dave

the best way to know the years is to look the n° of the caliber :

489- Production year 1949- 12 ligne with a height of 5.2 mm. Operates at 18,000 bph.

814- Production year 1953- based on caliber 489.

910- Production year 1962- 13 ligne with a height of 5.15 mm. Operates at 19,800 bph.

911- Production year 1962- based on the caliber 910, but with a date display.

914- Production year 1996- based on caliber 910. Operates at 28,800 bph.

Is there anyway to identify the watch by removing the back cover? If so, how do you remove the back without damaging it??(I've been out of town) thanks for the quick reply Datchary...
