Hello, Can anyone help identify the following watch (see photo)? It has a date - 4.7.1939 - engraved on it, the casing is stainless steel, and only 'Jaeger-LeCoultre' is printed on the face. The glass is chipped in the corner, but in all other respects is in good working order. I'd like to know the exact model (I've had a good look on the internet, but nothing seems to match what I have), and estimate value (once repaired). Any info much appreciated!

It is a vintage Reverso, those had different reference numbers depending on quality of movement finish and crystal type. Since it is engraved with a date it may have been produce one or two years before in maximum. An engraving usually reduces the value. Restored it would be worth around $2000, but hard to tell without seeing the engraving. Ilja |

Hi, If you do choose to sell, would you let me know? I have a black dial steel 30's JLC DuoPlan and this Black dial reverso would be a great partner to it! Regards Craig. P.S. I dont mind if it still has the crack and engraving, it adds to the watches history. |

Thanks Ilja! Hi Craig, the watch is currently being valued, and yes, it is potentially up for sale. If you drop me an email ([email protected]), we can take it from there! Thanks, Jay |
