I'm trying to date this LeCoultre watch. I believe the serial number is 1915660. Thanks for any help.

Is that the serial number of the movement? If so, late 1960s.

That number is stamped on the base of the movement, underneath a part that spins. This was my mom's watch and I don't remember how long she had it but I suspected it was more than thirty years old.

It's been great reading about watches on this forum. I don't care much for the look of this watch but I've seen some vintage watches I do like and I'm afraid I'm getting hooked.
