I've just bought a really lovely condition Gents size JLC Steel Duoplan but the black dial has some really bad paint work done to the batons! I think the last owner couldn't see the dial properly and had this done to tell the time!?* (IDIOT!). Can anyone help.?........I could get it re-painted but I'd like to keep it original. | ||

The only thing I can think of, is take the markers off (competent dial shop should be able to do this), clean them in lacquer thinner and put them back on. | ||
