Hello to all, Just looking for some information about vintage a Le Coultre watch. I bought this watch at a local estate sale yesterday(Sept.11th). Perhaps someone knows the model name and approx. year of manufacture? Movement is 810 / AW ~ case is 14k gold ~ date sets with a "button" in the center of the winding crown. Watch works and keeps time well. I plan to list it online and knowning it's age & model likely would be helpful. Thanks in advance, greek |

I'm not sure it has a model name, I call them "Calendar Disks", made between 1952 and 1954. Mostly found in the U.S.A. market in gold filled and solid 14k gold. The dial on your watch appears to have been re-painted at some point. On eBay, I'll guess it'll go for $400-500. |

Thank you Zaf for the reply.

I am curious as to why you believe the dial is repainted? I thought it just happened to be in really decent shape for a 50 year old watch. It's not perfect but is looks nice on the wrist! I have tried to add a picture of the dial, not sure if it will work. A past ebay sale of this model(missing stem & crown + ruff dial) brought 386.00. So I hope mine will bring $500 or better.
We'll see : ) Regards, greek |

Actually looking at some of my archives, the pattern is the same, so it's probably original. I thought the the numbers shouldn't be touching the LeCoultre brand, but they do on some original dials, so I think you're fine. |
