Hi
Im new to this forum though I have been looking in from time to time and its very impressive how much info is available. I wonder if anyone can help me. I bought a JLC watch which appears to have some impossible problems. Its an oversize 14 ct rose gold cased watch with the number 646133 on the back cover and a P468/C cal movement. The watch works great and keeps very accurate time but the dial has been badly redone at some point and also the dial feet have become detached leaving small holes in the dial. I have tried 3 dial refinishers who wont touch it till the feet have been resoldered in place. I believe dials can be stuck on but I would rather have the job done right if I can afford to. Ive also tried to obtain a replacement dial ( a lot of money ) but no one seems able to source one. Its a shame because its a really nice watch. any ideas? I have two other JLCs and I just love them.

Thankyou to Zaf for getting this image uploaded. It looks a very sorry sight with the horrendously bad redial but everything else about the watch is fine, case, movement, timekeeping...it just seems impossible to get the dial sorted, or even replaced...any advice welcome.
Regards
Steve

Hi Zaf
I tried the company you suggested, two emails later and no reply..that makes about ten I have contacted with no result so I guess this watch will be left in a box for the rest of its life...still can't believe no one will take it on.Even 'watches of switzerland', no doubt hideously expensive didn't reply!
Thanks for the try.
Kind Regards
Steve

The are in busines and will handle it. Just give them some time, they tend to be swamped.

Ok to send people their way, but just keep it off the forums. They're busy enough as it is!
