I have researched the site and believe that the watch I have is:
Memovox, with alarm
10K gold (plated)
made for the US market
maybe '60's
additionally, the posts appear to be original with the JL stamp; it has been used and there is some normal scratching to the face; it keeps time; the back is blank except for "10K gold filled S&W". My question is: have I accurately identified the watch? and how much would it cost to get it brushed up a little to be worn as a dress watch? And does anyone know anywhere in or around Philadelphia area (or anywhere) that would do it? Thanks for any advice/quotes!

What do you mean by "brushed up"? Mechanically cleaned or just cosmetically?

I can do both. Charges are typically around $275 for a full refurb both cosmetic & mechanical. The only part I do not have are clutch wheels, so if it grinds while winding or setting, I don't have the part in stock. They can be found but other people charge a lot for these.
