My clock is gold with a black face and lines for the numbers. The unusual part is, the gold hands are suspended on 'invisible' hands that makes the time difficult to tell as the gold hands are not pointing from the clocks centre. It is around 8 inches tall and slim. It is a mantel type clock from the early 70's. Any help on value would be much appreciated!

Sounds like a "mystery" hand style clock. Any chance at a photo?

Please post a photo and what the case is made of, the range is too wide to guess price.
