I'm surching any informations about the cal. UG 285.

I have no result in my surchs, except the book of Zaf.

Anybody know exactly the year's production of this calibre and its characteristics? (The watch is circa 1943/1944).

This calibre doesn't seem used a lot on Jaeger watch contrary to the R72.

Furthermore, most of these watches were 34mm big. Are they a lot in 37/38mm?

Thank's a lot.

Best regards.

Thomas.

Hello, you can date your watch via the watch case number, if you have UG movement (the table is in the JLC book). I couldn't find how may 285s were made. That may be difficult to get. In any event, the movement is common. I I were to guess, I'd say around 50,000.

Thank you very much Zaf.

You said 50.000,ok.

And, do you know if a lot of theme were in a 37,5 mm case?

Because in your book, all of them are in a 35,5mm case.

I know that a lot of Lecoultre were in big cases, like the 4atm, but what about the Jaeger?

I'm sorry to ask you so many questions.

Best Regards,

Thomas.
