Hi All from not so sunny Scotland I have a JLC Reverso in s/s and 18ct with a matching bracelet. I came by this watch by accident - long story, but I helped a friend out by buying it when he needed some money. It's in real good condition but I don't have a box or papers. It has the model number 250 5 86 and serial number 1719464. Does anyone have any idea what the serial numbers on the Reverso mean and it might be worth. Thanks in advance. |

Honest I don't know. It sounds like a modern one, yes? |

250 means Reverso Classic 5xx steel/gold 86x mechanical These model numbers differ from country to country it seems. Sometimes the model number indicates a watch delivered with bracelet... It' a 1990's til current production model. Ilja |

Thanks to you both. At least I know now what these cryptic numbers mean. My friend said that he bought the watch in Hong Kong in the early nineties. Thanks again. |
