I realized that I posted this at the end of someone else's question, so I think it may have gotten lost. I found this Memovox 814 in the back of my dad's dresser drawer after he passed away. I got it fixed up and wear it all the time. I know it's from the 50's, but any help with more specific identification would be appreciated. Calibre: 814 Serial # 1058449 Case #2572556 10kt gold filled Thank you so much. The back is engraved with his name (which is also mine) so this was a real found treasure. |

It was made ~1954. The inside of the case back may have the case reference #. |

Thanks so much, Zaf. Is the case reference number different than the number I posted up above? Also, I'm assuming that because it's "LeCoultre" instead of a JLC that it was for the American market. Any other points of interest I should know about it? Worth? etc? Thanks, I do appreciate this forum and your answers. |

The number you posted is the case serial number. There may be a 4 digit case serial number inside the case back. It is an American market watch, since it is gold plated, value is probably $400-500. |
