Does anyone know how to operate a 1950-ish LeCoultre Worldtime Alarm? I can get the alarm to work but how does the worldtime disc work independently of the alarm? Also, how do you turn the alarm off?

Turning the Alarm off is easy, just pull the alarm crown out.

I don't have one in front of me, but if I remember correctly the worldtime works as follows:

a. Rotate the world time disk to match the city you are in with the current time.
b. Once a) is done, you can read the time in the other cities of the world by seeing what time matches up with the city you are intersted in.

Thank you Zaf! You were absolutely correct on both the questions.
