I recently got lecoultre memovox on cal.916 - typical product of 70 ties - by design , the case ref. number is 9508.

Maybe anyone knows (since I couldn't find it in Zaf's book) the approximate year and production amount.

Thank you in advance
Rafal

Congrats, typical early 70's case, very nice to see, but a little big for my wrist :-)
The movement serial numbers help for the date !

Strange. A screw back would typically have a "Exxx" case reference. The four digit references without the "E" are typically for snap backs or watches not considered water resistant.

I have received a reply from our archive department in Switzerland regarding your timepiece. Please see below:

Memovox US model

Signed "LeCoultre" on the dial and "HPG" (> High Precision Guarantee)

Case made of steel, waterresistant

Reference HPG 907, according to the US catalogue of 1969

so it seams thats one of very first cal.916 models

thank you for help and best regards
