One more thing, I wind the bottom knob to wind the watch but it seems like I could wind it forever and it's not keeping time, it will only go for a few minutes before stopping, although the second hand goes around and doesnt stop along with the hour and minute hands.

Value in good condition is $1500 give or take. It is an automatic, so the bottom crown is operating as it should, but it should run for longer than a few minutes. I service these if you wanted to get it going properly, thanks.

$275 minimum, if the clutch wheels are shot, another $150 in parts. More if there are winding and setting issues. Parts relating to winding and setting are no longer available.
