I hve been offered a JLC geographic but I'm not sure when it dates back to? It does not look like a Master geographic (see attached pic as a reference). Any idea which year and approx. value of this watch bearing in mind it is yellow gold?

Thanks.

Honestly, I don't know. It's too modern for me to be knowledgeable. Your best best is to sift through their catalogs or find someone that has them...

Andre, your picture does indeed show the original Geographique in platinum. It was produced from 1990 until the middle of the 90s, when it was replaced by the Master Geographic (without much technical change to the movement).
The Geographique also came in red and yellow gold. The latter retailed for about 10.600,- EUR.

Christian. Sorry for not getting back to you earlier. Thanks you so much for your valuable help and information. I thought it was dating back to the mid 80's but at least I was right of being the original (first) geographic introduced.
Regards from Barcelona.
