It's the re-edition of the 1949 triple date moonphase watch, honoring Jacque-David leCoultre who died in 1948.

Honestly, I don't know. The watch is "too modern" for me. Only only collect pre-1975 watches, so I don't know sorry. My book has several photos of the original watch, both in gold filled and solid gold with all the pertinant information.

Movement is a cal. 486 rectangular shape.
The month does not forward automaticly, it needs to be corrected by hand.

These were produced around 1983 to celebrate 150 years of (Jaeger)-LeCoultre.

The 494 re-edition I have is a vintage movement, like 596,000 serial. the case could be new production as it isn't stamped like the old watches, the dial is definitely new production or at a minimum new paint.
