I need to know where I can find information on a Jaeger-LeCoultre High Precision Guaranteed automatic alarm calender watch made for Western Reserve Life Insurance about 1979.It has a steel back and 14kt gold rim. The front has WRL Balanced Program and a set of balances or scales on the middle part of the face that turns to set the alarm.I believe the style is HPG MEMOVOX.I would appreciate hearing from anyone who can let me know the best place to get this watch repaired and serviced and the best place to get an original leather band. I also would like to know something of the approximate value once the watch is fully restored. I Have all the papers and the original boxes. Thank you for any help you can offer. |

Value will depend on the shape. The more of that "1970s" look it has, the less it will be worth. That said, it's anywhere from $500 to $1000. I do offer repair on most JLC, please contact if interested, but I do not have any bands nor do I know where to get period ones like that. Best, Zaf |

Please give some idea regarding average cleaning and repair for this type watch. I know you can't give exact price but give me some idea of the range so I can make a determination as to whether I want to persue this any further.Jim Wyatt |
