Can you read the 13th post after this one, (posted by me) I posted pictures of my LeCoultre and I havent had any responses or any luck from JLC headquarters in identifiying it.

I'd like to know the following:
1. Approx. Age
2. Model name or style?
3. Original approx. retail price?
4. Current value?
5. any other tid bits

Sorry I can't help. It is too new for me. Anything after 1975 or so and I know as much as you do.

Hi Patrick,

I have seen these watches before and actually tried to help an Asian customer on checking what it is. To make it short, we haven�t found out. :-(
The curious thing is that the bezel is useless since it has no fly-back or Chrono function.
The movement is a JLC 889 if I remember correctly, it has a balance stop device (hack feature) so this is the only link to use the bezel engravings...
Checking ALL German JLC catalogs form 1986 to 2004 gave no results for this particular reference.
So in this case the factory in LeSentier is the only source that could help.
They have a "collectors corner" on their website.
There you can email them questions.
It usually takes month until they answer, so perhaps if you already try them, have just some more patience. Please let us know if you get any details.
