I'd like some help identifying this watch and getting an estimate of its value. Though from what I've read, its value is mostly in its materials. My camera sucks as closeup pictures so I'm not going to get a good picture of the inside of the case. The inside of the case says it was cased and timed in the USA. 14K 790837 620 |

This watch was part of LeCoultre's "Montres d'Elegance" series, model #250A. It appeared in LeCoultre advertisements around 1961. Value of these ladies' LeCoultre's is highly dependent on your marketing and picture-taking skills, venue, time of year, etc. Prices fetched by identical watches can be miles apart: $200-$750+. Certainly melt/scrap + a few bucks at a minimum, but a skilled seller will do much, much better. Greg |

I was thinking of taking this watch to chicago along with some high end costume jewelry. Am I likely to find someone willing to pay more there than say... Grand Rapids, MI. I'm sure I can get better pictures with a borrowed camera. |
