I have a 9ct gold 1950's Jaeger-Le-Coultre bracelet watch with a calibre 426 backwind movement. The hairspring has broken.

Is there any chance that anyone out there has a replacement?

Would be really pleased to hear from you if you have.

Jean

The spring is broken or is mangled?

Hi Zaf

OK, I have found a hairspring. It is used, obviously, spiral of the hairspring doesn't look that great. It's better than a broken one, but you need a skilled watchmaker to true it up again...someone really good.

How good is your repair person?
