I know that they are from 59-61 but was wondering which year? is one year better then the other? I have been receiving much praise and attention ( more then when my son was born and with higher congratulations and thanks for the images etc...) I had some offers one was $300

Umm...if you want an offer that is substantially higher than $300, please email me. I think you'll be very pleased. I own the JLC forum and run the classicwatch.com site, have an open order for one of these.

It dates to 1959 or 1960. The year doesn't matter in terms of valuation.

I knew $300 was like a major insult one sold on line for $4100 and it was in train wreck condition. Isnt this a forum for advise and knowledge? doesent the year make a difference? like the 57 and 58 chevy the 57 is more desirable. I just bought this watch Tuesday and was stumped enough to pass in it 3 times ( so did the other so called dealers) they thought the face was put back on crooked and didnt want to repair it, I know it was the alarm dial had just been rotated to look like it was not centered, AND still I passed on it then an hour later I left and said will you take $100 he said how about $110 I said OK

The year makes no difference at all. In fact, you generally can't precisely get the actual year as the movements are made in batches and can sit for up to 2 years (sometimes longer) before being cased.
