I have come across a LeCoultre "Memodate" manual wind alarm watch with date at 3, Calibre 911 in 10kt YGF. The dial is immaculate and original, the case is also flawless with dual signed crowns. It keeps excellent time with a deviation of +2 seconds per day. My watchmaker says the movement is pristeen. The movement serial number was sent to JLC who stated manufacture date is 1965. What is the value range of this watch? |

In gold filled they're worth $400 to $650, so it you have a genuinely original & pristine watch you'd be at about $650. |

Kelly, Does your Memodate look like this?
Please excuse the poor photos. These were taken a couple of years ago before I got comfortable with my digital camera. There are a few more pictures of the back, sides, etc. at: http://www.picturetrail.com/gallery/view?p=999&gid=8101597&uid=926983 Ignore the mesh band... it isn't original, but is just a nice Longines (still in the same family) band that I thought looked nice with the watch. The original (I believe) would have been a stainless bracelet made by Gay Freres. Hard to find and expensive if you do find one. Greg |
