Hi all

I just got some information on these JLC today. Hope some can help me out.

The watch is more than 30 years old, well, so say the seller. But, looking at it, it looks tru to me.
Te watch has been in the family for 25 years, so he say.

He did send me 2 photo´s of it.

Any information on the cal.?

To me all help and information is good.
Thanks for looking
Cheers

Hi Vegard_dino,

the movement is a cal.449 and
I guess it's the 449/1C version.
Date of production approx. 1943/44

The dial looks refinished to me. Watches with original dials are worth more and are easier to sell later, when the time comes.

Hi
Thanks for replying me. Good information.

The seller say, that maybe his father had a new dial to it. He is not sure.
The watch may be with a refinish dial, but it maybe ok for me. As I am seeking a fisrt vintage, and like to try to start with something in the lower price range.

I will ask more questions to the seller, and come back with the information.

Thanks

Cheers

Hi Vegard_dino,

guess you have to get Zaf's book to have this question answered. :-)
When you are into vintage JLC's this is a "must have" anyway.
