Te watch has been in the family for 25 years, so he say. He did send me 2 photo´s of it. Any information on the cal.? To me all help and information is good. Thanks for looking Cheers Vegard_dino

Hi Vegard_dino, the movement is a cal.449 and I guess it's the 449/1C version. Date of production approx. 1943/44 ginzersdorfer |

The dial looks refinished to me. Watches with original dials are worth more and are easier to sell later, when the time comes. |

Hi Thanks for replying me. Good information. The seller say, that maybe his father had a new dial to it. He is not sure. The watch may be with a refinish dial, but it maybe ok for me. As I am seeking a fisrt vintage, and like to try to start with something in the lower price range. I will ask more questions to the seller, and come back with the information. Thanks Cheers Vegard_dino |

Hi Vegard_dino, guess you have to get Zaf's book to have this question answered. When you are into vintage JLC's this is a "must have" anyway. |
