Hello,I just aquired an old nonworking ladies watch with a tapestry-like band that clips on to the face of the watch. The watch looks like it can also be worn as a pin - small pocket watch. When the back is open, the part that separates from the inner working mechanism says "vogue warranteed 20 years" Then '9 1/4 LIGNE' and more numbers printed in a descending scoop underneath that. On the side where the workings are it says, "A LECOULTRE SWISS" and then there are some other numbers that look like '15 JLS' and then either '5 ADJ' or 'GADJ' - hard to make out since it is pretty dirty. For some reason I am not able to upload the pics, though my camera is not able to zoom in enough for clear name and numbers anyway. It looks to be either gold filled or else gold. The face of the watch is a little less than an inch across. There are 3 visible jewels inside the back. Any info would be greatly appreciated. |

Only small pictures please. These huge pictures take up a lot of space on the server. If you can't get themn down to a reasonable size, then please don't email them either. That would tie up my mailbox. As far as your watch, you have an early A. LeCoultre, US market watch. Values are generally not very high. There is an active thread discussing A. LeCoultre that you may wish to follow. Thanks. (Message edited by admin on October 01, 2008) |
