Hi All,

My wife got this watch from her late father:

Gold JLC Front

We don't know very much about it and we would like to get some informations about it.

We went to Jaeger-LeCoultre place vendome in Paris (we are french ...) and they couldn't tell us anything about it. I asked them to open it for me to get a picture of the caliber, but they told me that it was not very safe, because some dust could enter the watch. They told me to ask the swiss manufacture to get more info.

As you are all JLC experts, i'd like to get some information from you about these watch. The case seems to be unsual for me (lateral vertical case finish ).

What do you think of this case ? Wich caliber should i find inside ? Is it a unsual watch or a quite standard one ?

Thank you all for your help ! (excuse my english...)

It's a French market watch, it will most likely have a caliber 11 in it or one of its successors like the 410, 424, 438, etc. Basically the same movement as a vintage reverso. Probably dates to about 1940.
