I've just baught this watch this morning on ebay but sarting to read the different posts on this watch, I'm now a bit anxious and wondering to know whether it looks real or fake . Thanks for your help and advice .

It is likely real. However, the movement was not made by JLC. The word "Club" on the dial is the clue. It was a lower cost product line of JLC in the late 1960's and early 1970's.

Movements were made by several manufacturers, but cases made by JLC.

In the case of your watch the movement was made by Adolf Schlid (AS) and is likely a caliber 1916 or 2066 (the latter if both day & date are quick-set).
