I've just baught this watch this morning on ebay but sarting to read the different posts on this watch, I'm now a bit anxious and wondering to know whether it looks real or fake . Thanks for your help and advice .

It is likely real. However, the movement was not made by JLC. The word "Club" on the dial is the clue. It was a lower cost product line of JLC in the late 1960's and early 1970's. Movements were made by several manufacturers, but cases made by JLC. Hope this helps, gatorcpa |

In the case of your watch the movement was made by Adolf Schlid (AS) and is likely a caliber 1916 or 2066 (the latter if both day & date are quick-set). |
