As far as I am concerned it is a Swiss (or at least European market) case. It was 3 distinguishing features:

1. LeCoultre Co SWISS (American cases will be marked "Cased and timed in the USA by LeCoultre"
2. Plaque Or XX Microns (American cases will say 10k gold filled.)
3. A case serial number XXXXX with "P" indicated Plaque. American market watches will not have a P, and frequently will not have a serial on the outside, only on the inside.

Best,
Zaf

I believe this same case was used on the European market Memovox using the strange caliber 601. Clavi has one. Clavi, can you check? Just for general knowledge?
