Thanks, guys. What a big help you are. Either of you have any idea what the watch in question (excellent +) is worth today? Also, am I correct in thinking it dates from the 1960s? Or is it 70s? PS where do I find out about the rules of this board, like "now" and "does" being barred? DOn't get this myself. | ||

Zaf, I have just attempted to send you an explanation, relating what I had originally typed and what was barred. But your system again barred me from using the phrase it barred originally, so there's no way for me to explain. Perhaps using a series of dots between two words was part of the problem, but I'm only guessing. Over to you. | ||

yes, consecutive dots are barred as part of the profanity filter. The amount of spam and sexually objectionable content, I have to filter out on these small forums is staggering, so yes, the settings are somewhat agressive. I'd rather lose a few legitimate messages than spend hours deleting these fairly offensive messages. |
