Can someone give me some information about the watch on the attached picture. According to the seller it is from 1957, and has serial: 871222A.

Thanks for helping,

Jack

I'm not sure how anyone can date a JLC exactly unless they have written JLC themselves, but 1957 sounds plausible. All I can tell you is that it is 18k gold, but I have no further info on model or what movement may be inside though it looks like a back set 8NR or 427.

Any idea what a normal price for a watch like this would be? It is in perfect condition.

Thanks,

Jack

According to the seller:

Double roped 18 Karat Gold Band with one "8 Point" diamond on each end connecting to the watch face

I'm going to give you a range, as it depends on where you are buying it, if it has been serviced, how original, how much gold, etc.

I'd say anywhere between $500 to $900 is reasonable.
