Hi, I have a Reverso Gran'Sport Automatique that I received as a gift about three years ago. It's been taken very good care of. Just last week, I picked it up in the morning, unscrewed the stem and tried to pull it out to set the time and date, but it was stuck - won't pull out. Should I try and contact the JLC repair center and send to them? Or should I first take it to a reputable local repair shop such as this one(http://www.austinwatchandjewelry.com/restoration_repair.html)? Any input would be helpful and appreciated. And if anyone has contact info for JCL's US repair center, that'd be great. i can't find it anywhere. |

If you're really confident about the abilities of your locak shop, it's certainly going to be a lot cheaper than JLC which will probably want to service the watch (you're looking at over $1000). I wish JLC had a more owner friendly service rate, but they don't. I think in the long run it hurts them to charge such high prices. |
