I am considering purchasing a 1990 JLC Quartz Chrono watch with a stainless steel and 18k gold band (men's watch). The reference number is 305.5.31, and it's in good condition (not perfect).

Does anyone know approximately what this watch is worth? It is a quartz, and I didn't think JLC made quartz watches except for the Master Quartz.

I found a couple of samples on Ebay, one with a metal band and one with a leather band. This is what the watch looks like

Any thoughts on what this watch is worth? It would seem to me that the fact that it is a quartz would make it worth no more than $500, but are the Quartz Chronographs worth more for some reason?

Thanks!
