Hi, I'd like to buy my wife a vintage Etrier watch for her bithday. I found one from a dealer in London. England asking US$1,800 for it. Is that reasonable? It is said to be in near-mint condition, recently serviced but unrestored. The mouvement is signed 'Jaeger LeCoultre', 'Fab Suisse' and 'Swiss' and the dial 'Jaeger LeCoultre' and 'Swiss made' . Please see the photos below. Sadly, it doesn't come with its original gold buckle. Would that substantially lower its value? How easy would it be to find an original buckle? Many thanks!Etrier FaceEtrier BackEtrier DialEtrier Mouvement

That sound kinds of pricey for a ladies watch. Take a careful look at that dial to make sure it has not been repainted. It looks repainted to me. As such, I think asking price is 2 x what it should be.

Would you consider a pink gold one as well?
As a mod here - some pigs are more equal. :-)
I can offer you a factory serviced one with
New Old Stock original dial at a price lower
than your Lonon dealer.
Drop me a line if interested.
