I inherited this from my father and I remember that he was wearing it in the late '40/early '50 (perhaps inheriting himself?) It has been working since then and 20 years ago I passed it to my son; a few years ago I noticed the problem on the dial(scratches, stain?) Perhaps somebody could tell me its age and in particular its approximate value (as it is) and if and where the dial could be cleaned/restored. I live in Italy, near Venice. Any other information about this watch would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your help. |

The watch was made approximately in 1946-1947. Is it 18k gold? Assuming it is, in the condition it is in, value is around $500-600. You would need to re-paint the dial to remove the scratches. |
