Hi, I'm a new poster to this forum, I'm looking for information on a watch that I bought today. I came across a nos Polaris II in a local jewelry store, it had been sitting in along with a bunch of other nos watches awaiting a buyer, the jeweler has had this watch since it was new, He was glad to sell it to me for what I considered to be a heck of a bargain, I think. My question to the knowledgable people of this forum is how is the American market blue dial Lecoultre Polaris II viewed, does it have a large following? Is it a special watch in any way? I'm just trying to understand what kind of watch I just bought on impulse. Thanks in advance. |

Here's a fresh picture of the above referenced watch. Sorry about the quality of the image, photography is not my strong point. |

Hi again, I've just learned that the above watch is actually reffered to as "Memovox skin diver" I'm sorry if my post appeared to be misleading, I based my assumption on a web page that I found with what appears to be an identical watch that was reffered to as a "Polaris II". I still like the watch regardless of what it is called. |
