Hi, I'm a new poster to this forum, I'm looking for information on a watch that I bought today. I came across a nos Polaris II in a local jewelry store, it had been sitting in along with a bunch of other nos watches awaiting a buyer, the jeweler has had this watch since it was new, He was glad to sell it to me for what I considered to be a heck of a bargain, I think. My question to the knowledgable people of this forum is how is the American market blue dial Lecoultre Polaris II viewed, does it have a large following? Is it a special watch in any way? I'm just trying to understand what kind of watch I just bought on impulse. Thanks in advance.

Hi again, I've just learned that the above watch is actually reffered to as "Memovox skin diver" I'm sorry if my post appeared to be misleading, I based my assumption on a web page that I found with what appears to be an identical watch that was reffered to as a "Polaris II". I still like the watch regardless of what it is called.
