I will try to upload a pic. I am looking for information on a ladies Jaeger Duoplan watch - 61684, "Made in France" on back. Small black square face in longer stainless steel casing. White numbers, "Jaeger" on top of face,"Duoplan" under hands, "Swiss" on bottom. The face is appr 4/10". The casing that shows from the front is stainless steel and measures 9/10" long by 6/10" wide. The winder is on the back - 3/10" wide. Want to know age and worth. |

The bigger it is the better. At 9/10" by 6/10" it appears to be the mens size of the era, these watches are from the 1930s. Try to get a photo again. You have to make the photos small so that they fit on the screen, thanks. |

Having a problem with the photo. Can't seem to get the digital camera to capture the face. Doesn't appear to zoom. This is one small watch for a man. |

doubt seriously if we can get a pic. will try when my daughter comes home from spring break. do you know anything of the value or anything else pertinent or interesting about these watches. sounds like you know this particular watch. if i wanted to sell, do you have any suggestions as to what type of sale would be best, ie auction, private, etc. and is it even a desirable piece. the ladies watch must need a microscope to see it. Thanks. |

It's going to depend a lot on the model really. It is is a mens watch, it's at least $700 and go up from there depending on size, condition and originality. I'd be a buyer myself if it's a mens piece for the site. |

ok, have talked w/JLC in NY. Said to get the movement number from inside the watch. Said to take it to a certified watchmaker to do such and a pic of the watch as well. They would send info to archives in Switz. They would be able to tell me model and year but not value. At that point, I will send the same to you. Your forum has been interesting to read. You provide a very nice service. Thanks. |
