I have this clock in storage right now. My parents purchased it from an estate sale in Los Angeles around 1967. Can anyone point me to some documentation about this particular model? The case is about 2.5" square and is black with gold Egyptian motifs applied on all four sides. The obelisk sits atop the clock and is made of plastic.

Hi Zaf, I'd like to know when it was made, where, and was it a limited production? Also, I think it is no longer running and was wondering if I need to take it to someone specializing in LeCoultre clocks for repair. I'd also like to learn something about it's value.

I don't think I'm going to be able to get production figures on a particular clock model. If nothing is broken inside, the repair should be fairly straight forward by anyone capable of servicing mechanical movements. I'd estimate value will be in the $250 to $500 range depending on condition and the sales venue.

Thanks Zaf - are there any publications that catalogue clocks made by LeCoultre? Do you have any idea of the age of this clock? I don't think there is anything broken in the clock. It's case is in very good condition and shows no signs of wear. It was one of my favorite objects in our house when I was growing up, but I knew nothing about it.

OK, check the end result, I suspect that it'll go in the $250-325 range. Ilja is the "Catalog man" see if he has in in one of his. I think it's a late 1950s item, I know Ilja has a few catalogs from them, maybe it is in there. Actually I have a few too, so I'll look as well.

Sorry folks, the "catalog man" cant help on this topic. Just have wristwatch related stuff.
But agree with Zaf, about 1950s worth up to about $500.
These show up on ebay quite frequently, so they are not "limited edition" in my mind.

Thanks for all of the help. The clock I saw recently on ebay sold for $375. Are there any books you recommend on Jaeger-LeCoultre clocks?

None of the moderators are all that versed on clocks, do you have a picture?
