Dear ZAF, Actually, I don't have one, but two Memovox 601 (plus a spare dial...) I'm glad that finally JLC did admit producing them (and would love to know more...) I have read somewhere that you are working on a book on JLC, right ?
If I can be of any help for the Memovox part, it would be a pleasure (I have like 1000+ eBay auctions saved on my hard disk, and also recently
a decent photographing capacity for my own models...).
Here are my 601 on the right of this very lousy picture (I promise to re-shoot them sometime), as well as older photos

I am indeed in Paris, and it would be a pleasure to meet you. I don't have the add in the picture, it is only a reproduction of the add which serves as background for the watch which is itself a picture in the book (if you follow me ! ). However, I have 3 original JLC ads which could be of use (but you probably already have them) |

The book is called "l'encyclopdie des montres", by Constantin Parvulesco. It covers very high-end watches from the past (lot of Breguet pocket watches, marine chronometers etc...) as well as their recent descendance (modern Breguet, Blancpain, British masters...). Not a very exhaustive book although pictures of old breguets are quite interesting. I don't have it with me now, so can't give you more details on the specific pages with memovoxes... I would be pleased to meet you in September (I met Ilja once in the past, Hi Ilja !)
