Hi everyone
I have a much loved silver dial stainless steel cased p478 and am considering bidding on this current ebay item.

Is it an unrestored example of the black faced military version, and would the brushed finish with softened corners be original?
I would love to hear opinions.

A black face does not necessarily indicate it is a military watch. This is a civilian watch. Hard to tell from that much contrast in the photo, but it looks legit.
