Hi everyone, Im new to this forum but i have been reading everyone's post. Its been very informative. I never actually post however i need some help and opinions. I know this has been discussed over and over again but i was wondering if you could pick this watch apart on being for real or terrible. |

Always hard to tell as ever, but this one "could" be real IMHO only looking at the dials. The fact that the hands are wrong however indicates taht at some point someone has done some work on the watch, which involves a certain risk factor that he might as well have done something to the dial, but maybe not. What do you gys think ? |

I think it's a real watch but a fake WT. "K" from New York is hidden by the alarm pointer and the G in Hong Kong hidden by outer dial. |

Just my 2cents. As said by Zaf re the pointer AND the leCoultre is covered by the 12. I have more experience with Omega watches but would the factory send out a dial in this condition? This watch is now on Ebay. There is a straight-on pic of the dial on the listing. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=190189135209 |

The entire dial is redone. It's worth the price of a redone dial Memovox, nothing more. |

The Ebay auction closed at $1,800 with a 642 feedback bidder! I emailed the seller several times to point out the problems, links to this forum, and politely requested that he post the qestions at least to be fair to bidders. Never happened. Khd sc, did you bid? http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=190189135209 |

It's fraud pure and simple, but on the other hand stupid buyers deserve stupid results. So basically it's a $1000 dial re-paint the buyer paid for. In fact, the alarm pointer shouldn't even be gold in color with steel numerals. That alarm disk is foreign to that watch. |

Haha, it is hard for them to get a good corner on the letters of a refinished dial isn't it? I have paid thousands of dollars for my education, guess it's their time to pay. |
