This watch was recovered from a box of "stuff" when I cleaned out his house after he passed away at the age of 93. Has #307442 on the back. This picture taken before being turned over to my watchmaker for servicing. My "Before" picture.

Thanks Zaf for the quick response. I'm getting it serviced; movement, crystal & crown. Leaving the Dial "as is" for the present. Can't remember my dad ever wearing it. He was a Timex kinda guy. It had a spidel Twist-o-fex band on it wen I pulled it from the junk box. It is being serviced now; movement, crystal & crown. Will leave the dial "as is" for the present. Got a Blak Croc strap for it and it will join my watch rotation. Any idea of age and or value? Tanks again for any info you can offer.

It's a cal 450 isn't it? I've got one with golden 3, 6, 9 & 12. In some ways I like these painted digits better, provided they're this art deco type.

It from the late 1940s, value in perfect condition with original dial is around $1500-2000. You'd need to deduct from that given the dial.

Thanks all for the info. The value to me is that is was my dad's. I'll post an "after" picture in a week or so. My watch guy is waiting for the crown. The dial has been cleaned up, the case nicely polished and a new crystal is ready. I've got the Black Croc Strap ordered. I'm looking forwad to the watch joining the rest of my collection & rotation. Thanks again.
