my first post. I have a Jaeger-le Coultre and need to know if you can tell me how to identify this as a fake. I was told it was real by the person I purchased it from (of course) but another person said its a fake. Can you please help me? on the back-memovox 144.8.9.94.s on the front-Mastel-100 Geographic I couldn't get the back off, there is a slit on one side to put in a tool, but it wouldn't pop off. Any help is greatly appreciated. Below is a picture

Yes, it is a fake. Just by looking at the movement, the finish quality is significantly inferior to the real thing. You don't need to look further than that. I can't give you a value as I'm not even sure what model it's trying to be. The Geographic and Memovox are 2 different models, this has both their names on there.
