Dear All,

Just got this watch from a vintage watch dealer but need more info on the model, calibre, number of jewels, year of manufacture and originality. Got to examine the movement before purchase but the calibre inprint is so small that I could hardly see with the naked eyes. Was told by the dealer that this is solid 18K gold with a manual wind movement. What is the value of this watch. I paid $750 for it. Thanks so much in advance.JLC cushion_frontJLC cushion_backJLC cushion_iso

Hi Glen,

your watch has the reference 2006. This is a model from the early 70s JLC entry line called "Club".
The case indeed is 18k gold. Used movement is a A. Schild movement Caliber 1900. 17 jewels, 21600 vibrations per hour, shock protected, direct center second.
Normaly the dial shows the CLUB signature, but exeptions are possible.
The price you paid is ok for a solid gold watch, but keep in mind the movement is not JLC inhouse made.
Sorry we cant tell a year of production for this watch, but for sure it is early to mid 70s.

Hi Ilja,

Really appreciate the valuable info. I search numerous vintage watch sites but just could not find anything close not to mention similar. Thank you so much and have a nice day!
