Hi

I have the option of purchasing the following womens watch:

http://colmans.net/downloads/jaeger1.jpg
http://colmans.net/downloads/DSCF0329.JPG
http://colmans.net/downloads/DSCF0330.JPG

I phoned through to Jaeger in Geneva, and received
the following information about it:

Caliber: 818 from 1959
Case number: 1180585
Date of manufacture: 1969
Reference: 9027 = 19041 with 18kt yellow gold bracelet

However they didn't tell me the model number, could not
tell me the original retail price, and would not assign
a value to it.

Could anyone shed some further light on the timepiece please ?
ie, model name, approximate value, etc ?

Thanks,
Gary

Well, the "model" is really the case reference which is 9027. I don't know what the original retail would be, maybe someone can dig it up from an old catalog?

If the bracelet also stamped JLC or is it aftermarket?

Hi Gary,

I checked the reference number (Both 9027 and 19041) with my vintage catalog archive.
Unfortunately I havent found this particular watch, probably because some pages are missing.
However, the watch in question comes surely from the "De Luxe" line. Similar watches with references slightly below or above your reference are "De Luxe" line watches. A definate retail price cant be given, but as a ballpark figure 2200 Swiss Francs in 1979 for a watch with integrated bracelet made of 18k yellow gold.

Todays market price for such watches are low since collectors are not really interested in Ladies watches and integrated bracelets are out of fashion for the mainstream. I estimate $US 800 to 1300.
Hope this helps.

Ilja
