Hello, This is my fathers watch. It's a mechanical daily-wind watch but I have practicaly zero other info on it, since I have not opened it (not equiped or experienced to do so). Before taking it to a jeweler, what could you tell me about it. Sorry for the blurry photo, my camera doesn't have a macro mode and I'm not a good photographer. It's only written "LeCoultre" On the back it says 18 karat on the bottom of the back-casing. No other info or numbers exists. There is a seconds sub-dial underneath the center hands. The look is very "art-deco", there are "pilot-type" arrows next to the 12, 9 and 3 positions. The 6 position is just the arrow pointing upwards. Only info I have is this: I read that american-made LeCoultre watches did not go up to 18k. (They usually are the ones not identified by the Jaeger-LeCoultre appelation). I have not encountered this model anywhere on the net (forums, google, ebay). Thanks for any help. |

American assembled watches definitely also come in 18k. There wll be no records for it however, so unless you have an old catalog showing the watch and name, the information is not available. |
