Jaeger continued marketing watches after the merger with LC (i.e."Quatre Atmospheres as late as '60s).

What is the story with Jaeger (primarily, exclusively chronographs?) after the merger?

Many thanks for comments.

Jaeger was used in France for quite a long time, until the mid 1970s. It was also an instrument manufacturer. Why it stayed separate is hard to tell, perhaps because instruments and chronographs did not use "in house" LeCoultre movements, they preferred to keep the Jaeger name distinct from the JLC name
